i've been enjoying these scriptures
from Isaiah...

This is the LORD; we have waited for Him,
we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee;
because he trusteth in thee.

such beautiful words :)

grace and truth...

and if by grace, then it is no more of works.

i've so been enjoying
grace and truth
and wanted to make
something to put on the wall!

....so i made a 16 X 20 using
my new favorite Basic Grey papers
from their fruitcake collection.

i LOVE the definiation of "grace" from the
1828 Noah Webster dictionary:
"the free unmerited love and favor
of God, the spring and source
of all the benefits received from Him."

glory full of grace and truth

...thankful

Being that it was "American Thanksgiving"
i was feeling very "thankful"
and made thank you cards!

I was very thankful that
on Saturday Jaxson spent the night
by himself....
i so forgot how much work
the babies are :) but it was
tons of fun!

It was our *test* run as my sister
and her dh are going away next weekend...
then i get to look after him again...
for two sleeps!

have a wonderful day :)

...wishes

this layout was in the fall issue of
Canadian Scrapbooker
the little cards on the front
open up to reveal what pictures i *wish* i had.
~Those animal pictures i always seem to miss. Tailor (rabbit) sleeping on his back and the way Sheriff cocks his little puppy head. That great blue haron that flies over our house almost daily...just never ready!

~My Saviour, my Lord Jesus Christ!

~When I told the children that they were going to have a cousin...the batteries ran out just as i was about to take your picture!

~the wonderful facial expressions of Dada reading and telling stories :)

~Grandad holding his great-grand babies.

~...your eyes...the way they looked at me on the day we met and only God knew that we would be married 2 1/2 years later!

~a picture of Dada when i told him i was pregnant...and the expression on his face when he saw his babies!

~Andrew...you were too quiet! You were almost two and you decided to sprinkle glitter over my entire bedroom...i asked "what are you doing?" you replied "making your bedroom pretty!"

~those times that butterflies land on you!

~Breanne's first hold of her long awaited for baby sister Emma!

and

~"faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of faith is to see what you believe" St. Augustine...one picture i will never have is one of the expression on my face when i look into the most wonderful and beautiful face of my saviour, the one who died for my sins, when i fall at His feet and praise Him forever more. That sweet and blessed day when nothing else will matter.

*******
may God bless you with a wonderful weekend...see you Monday!

...dancing hearts

this makes my heart sing
with joy! It has always been
my prayer to have children
who "get along" with each
other...but when i hear you
call each other "friends" it is
music to my ears...make my
heart dance...Praise God!
*********
i took this picture at the Gelatly Nut Farm
on the day it first started to snow.
November 2, 2006
i love the first snow when the children
try and fit into their last year winter clothes...
of course no boots fit so they were wearing runners...
i love winter, so fun :)

..because He lives

i made this little tiny mini book
out of a Maya Road container!
*********
we sang hymns at the nursing home
yesterday and i just love this one...

Because He lives I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives.
*********

A big AMEN to those wonderful words!

Hope you have an amazing day
filled with God's wonderful grace :)

task

i love this photo.
thank you Vanessa :)
it just says so much,
everyone sees something different.
my dh saw
"an ever yearning why?"
~~it thrusts forth its branches
as far as the sea, and unto the river
it shoots. wherefore 'hast thou broken
down its fences so that all who pass along
the way pluck its fruit?~~

i saw that God has a work to
complete in me and my task is to testify
to the gospel (or good news!) of God's
[amazing] grace :)

have a very blessed day!

little creatures...

"oh Lord, the earth is full of your creatures..."

i made some *pet pages* this weekend.
i wasn't planning on making the
rabbit one...it is hard to make a page
about a mean rabbit who bites me
and attacks everyone in our house...
except for Breanne!

So the "tailor" page is for Breanne :)

I just love the picture of Sheriff...he is so fun!

today...

these pages are from
the mini-book i made for my
Maya Road dt entry...
i didn't make it to the next round...
but i sure loved making my book!

it is titled "today"
and it is a reminder for me
of what i need to do
everyday!

more joy!

i've never *altered* a canvas before
so i thought i would give it a try!

Our weather has been sooooo
beautiful...i feel like using
spring colours! It is amazing how
colour can make us feel :)
I tried to take several pictures
of the canvas but they all
seemed "funny"...my favorite
is the one with little Emma holding it:)

i used felt and beads to make the flowers
and Maya Road chipboard petals
to make the butterfly!

and this felt flower is eagarly awaiting her
thank you!

Jesus loves me...

the above page is a
scraplift of
Nisa Fiin from the
November CK page 234...
it is for a challenge!

Jaxson update...
i got to go and see him
yesterday, wasn't sure if
i'd make it due to the snow!

it was my prayer on the way
to see him that he would
talk to me...we have a special
"haaaabooooo" talk!

unfortunatley...he was not a
happy boy...very drowsy from
the morphine. i was just going
to leave and he looked at me and said
"haaaabooooo".
i was so excited i didn't want to leave.
we talked for while then he got a little
upset...his heart rate skyrocketed.

my sister said that singing calms him.
my mom stated singing
twinkle, twinkle, little star...
he still was upset, my sister said,
"no, he likes Jesus Loves Me".
so my mom, sister, and i sang...

"Jesus loves me this i know,
for the bible tells me so,
little ones to Him belong,
they are weak but he is strong"

and you know what...
he calmed right down
and fell asleep.

best friends...

i so love it when
Andrew calls Jaxson
his best friend.
love comes in all sizes.

Jaxson's surgery went well.
The doctor was able
to fix his lip, nose and gums!
Praise God :)

The poor little guy
is in ALOT of pain...so
please continue to pray
for him. I'm going to visit
him later today.

waiting...

i made this from a Maya Road
flower chipboard coaster
that was left over from
a book the children made
for their Nan!
i put a magnet on the back to put
on the fridge...i need a
constant reminder to
wait on the Lord!
My nephew Jaxson,
who has completely
captured my heart, is
having his first surgery on
his cleft lip today...exciting
and nervous at the same
time. He is almost
5 months old...so keep him
in your prayers today...
thank you, very much.
have a blessed day!
